On 27 November “Public Movement Multinational Georgia” (PMMG) with its partner organization “Justice and Peace Netherlands” held the concluding event “Civil Participation Forum” of the project  “Getting the ethnic minority voices heard in Georgia” within the framework of the “Matra” Social Transformation Programme for Central and Eastern Europe.

Follow up visit to Kvareli

Upon the completion of the public consultations in the project regions the project implementing team has embarked on the second stage intending the assistance of the local stakeholders in the realization of the accomplishments achieved as a result of public consultations.

To this end the project implementing team as well as Sophiko Gelashvili, Civil Society Programme Manager (MATRA), Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to Georgia visited Kvareli municipality to discuss all the issues directly related to the promotion of employment opportunities and healthy way of living as well as the creation of the framework for the effective use of leisure time for the youth residing in the villages Chikaani, Mtisdziri, Tivi and Akhalsopeli of Kvareli Municipality.

Public Consultation in Kobuleti, Adjara

On May 22 “Public Movement Multinational Georgia” (PMMG) conducted the public consultation in Kobuleti, Adjara region envisaged by the project “Getting the ethnic minority voices heard in Georgia” within the framework of the “Matra” Social Transformation Programme for Central and Eastern Europe. The consultation has been hosted by Kobuleti Municipal Council and carried out in the Kobuleti Municipal Council’s conference hall.
